"Westjail" - Chapter 2

A month had passed after that little 'incident'. Exactly enough time for everyone to have partially gotten over Rue's death.

"Wow," Meagan began, "everyone's left us. Steven's gone, Crystal, Brandon…," she paused, and shuttered, before saying, "Rue."

"Yeah," Arielle said, adding, with a grin, "so when are you going to leave?"

"That's not funny" Meagan replied in a babyish voice as she left the gym to go to Mr. Whalen's room.

Three Minutes Later (Time Relevence)

BBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

The familiar sounds of the beginning of class was heard by all of the students; most dashed into their first hour classes. Let's visit Ms. Timmerick's room to catch up with out next victim character before the door closes. You'd better hurry. WOW! That door looked like it hit you hard. Did it hurt? Okay, off second person and on with the story.

"Dorian, lemme see you homework" Alix begged.

"You should've done it last night" Dorian said rolling her eyes.

"I had to go to the George Strait concert," Alix smiled as she talked.

"Well, that's too bad, ain't it?" Dorian fussed, but it didn't discourage Alix, she just walked up to her next contestant and asked, "Marie, may I see your homework, please?!"

"Okay, but you'd better hurry up, you might get caught," Marie contested.

"Don't worry, I've got a plan" Alix assured her and began step one of her scheme.

"Summed up, she asked Ms. Timmerick if she could go to the bathroom. On the way, she placed a sheet of loose-leaf onto the wall, her it's a flat surface, and reached into her yellow anorak and pulled out Marie's homework. There she began to copy it, but where she's going…she won't need homework. Unbeknownst to her, however, she was about to be busted.

"Doing your homework, huh Alix?" a familiar voice asked her.

"Yeah, um," she said as she turned towards her greeter, but she only caught a glimpse of him, even though she knew that voice indistinctly, because at that instant, she slowly fell to the ground, glaring at the odd, awkward face he was making.

"Why Sean?" she asked before she collapsed, but she never heard the answer.
